Jan 28th

I snuck down into KJ's room while he was napping and took this picture. He likes to sleep with two Doggys whenever i let him and today he used one to cover his face while he slept. So cute!

While KJ and his Mommy were at the Apple store the other day he found this shape game and asked her if it was a "present" for him. She text me and i thought it would be fun for him so i bought it. There are three different apps that it comes with and you use the shapes to make things. This obviously is a pufferfish. He has those shapes and colors down and seems to like the apps ok too. What a smarty!

Today we decided to take a shower together. We haven't done that since he was very little and i forgot how much fun he is when he gets a shower instead of a bath. We got the washcloth wet and set that down so he could sit on it and he took some of his Cars in with us so that he could play with them. There is a removable shower head that i gave to him so that he could play with that and wash his cars while i showered and then we washed him. He was so funny, he kept trying to drink that water from the shower head like it was a drinking fountain. He also loved washing his feet. I had to remind him that he needed to get the rest of his body too or he would get cold.

We went to see the Horses on our walk and the little guy walked all the way there holding my hand (he never wants to hold hands unless It's to cross the street and thats only because he has to) so it was really nice that he did it for a good 5-10 minutes and then on the way home i told him that he needed to put his hands in his pockets because it was getting cold. His eyes are just so amazing. 

Jan 26th and 27th

Sunday night Cousin Sav came over again to play and we ended the night watching a movie as a family. Uncle S and Aunt H were laying on the floor and KJ and Sav decided they wanted to get down on the floor with them. They are so cute i just couldn't pass up this picture. These kids just want to fit in. I love it!

Every morning KJ sits in his seat while i make his breakfast. We come upstairs, he gets his vitamins and we pull out his chair and start a movie. When i finish making his breakfast i sit down next to him and we eat together. It's just one of those things that i love so much about the day. 

I decided to lay down on the floor next to him and i decided that it would make a pretty cool picture. He's so cute and gets so into his movies, there is no distracting him.

Spaghetti for dinner. KJ did such a great job eating tonight. He had two full plates of Spaghetti and did a great job of getting almost all of it into his mouth. He's becoming such a great eater. And of course, he always wants one of his planes to eat with him. 

Jan 22nd, 23rd

This little guy found a pair of his new shoes and told me that they fit him and that he wanted to wear them. I said buddy they don't fit yet, they are still to big. He took them out of the box and said no Daddy, shoes fit! I decided to let him wear them for a little while and he was just so happy. Ive taught my little guy very well and when we go to the store to look at shoes he knows only to look at NIKE and JORDAN just like Daddy. He loves his NIKE shoes. 

One of KJ's favorite foods is rice with parmesan cheese. When i asked him what he wanted for lunch he looked at me with the sweetest face and said "Rice and Cheeeeeeeese" He is just so cute! 

He was so good today and ate all of his lunch she he got a cookie. He asked for two like he always does but his mom and i don't like to give him a lot of sweets so we just did one for today. He was so happy but also disappointed because he really wanted two. He always wants two of everything, It's his favorite number. 

Kristoffer loves when cousin Sav comes over to play. They decided to share KJ's chair tonight while they watched a movie. They didn't quite fit but they made it work for a little while. They are so cute with each other.

I told you earlier that KJ loves his shoes just like Daddy and he was so excited when i bought shoes that matched his. He was so excited to match Daddy today so we took some pictures. He just kept saying "match daddy, match daddy" and then he would run over to me laughing and would hug me and say it over and over. Man, where would i be without this angel?!

Jan 21st

Ok so I'm cheating a little bit on the days but i failed to put this picture on yesterdays post but this was the little guy right before bed. KJ wanted to slip with almost all of his toys. I told him that they couldn't go to bed with him and he said that they were sleepy and they wanted to go night-night. He's so cute. I told him that two of them could sleep outside of his bed and he was ok with that. 

KJ wanted to watch Tangled while he was waiting for me to get breakfast ready. I got a picture of him at the part where the bad lady takes Rapunzel from her crib at the beginning of the movie. Needless to say, he doesn't like that part. He likes to tell her not to take the baby!

Tonight KJ asked me to lay down on the floor and then he climbed on top of me and said "daddy! Horsie ride please!" I just couldn't say no. We did a few laps around the room and then we were all done. He was so happy! I love this boy! And yes, before you judge me about him having his pajama top on with jeans, he refused to take it off! What a stinker.

Jan 20th the little guy is back!

So glad this little guy is back with Daddy! He loves playing with his Planes while watching Tangled.

I love that he asks to play with the Ipad and when most kids would play games or watch movies or something my little guy plays a spelling game. He is counting to ten without help and he knows almost all of his letters. Its fun to count with him and sing the ABC's and it makes me so happy that he loves games that make him think and learn.

So KJ thought that Titan needed a "towel" which was really just one of his wet-wipes and just for good measure he put Dusty from Planes on him as well. I guess its a good thing that Titan is such a mild mannered dog.

Cousin Sav came over for dinner tonight and after dinner we got the markers out and let the little ones color. They loved it!! They only used 3 different colors but they did a great job of keeping it on the paper. They are so smart!

These are their masterpieces. They were very proud of what they did and were so eager to show everyone. They are now hanging on the fridge.

Jan 16th

KJ loves playing with his Planes, this morning he pulled them all out but i got him to stop flying them around just long enough to take this picture of him with Skip

Corndogs for lunch. He ate like 12 of them. Of course they were just the little mini ones and about half way through he started taking off the breading because he decided that he just wanted to eat the hotdogs. He looked at me and said that the breading was yucky and asked me to take it off of the rest of them. He's so cute.

I went to drop the little guy off with his mommy and we took one last picture together, should hold me over for a few days until he comes back.

He loves to look at the fishies at the Doctors office next to Mommy's office. He would look for the Orange one and then the Black one and back and forth between the two. I didn't get any pictures of it but we spent about 30 minutes running up and down the halls of the Hospital while we waited for Mommy. He would run and i would chase him and say "Im going to get you" and he would run for a little while and then jump up on one of the chairs and say "SAFE!!!" He is so cute.

Jan 15th

Nana helped KJ build a tower today and then we all sat down and watched Tangled together. He loved Tangled so we had to watch it again later in the afternoon. He loves the Horsie (Maximus) and will try to imitate him. He is such a smart boy

Yes, KJ is picking out the bacon and that is the only part of dinner that he actually ate. Kid can't get enough bacon!! That's my boy!!

He wanted a green bath tonight and for some reason he loves playing with the washcloth. He calls it his "towel" so cute.

More of bath time.

 

The little guy loves towel time with his real towel after his bath. He's just like daddy that way. 

Jan 14th

 Today started with breakfast like always. KJ had Cream of Wheat which he loves. Pop-Pop worked from home today so KJ helped him for a little while. He sure loves his Pop-Pop. 

KJ wanted to go shopping so badly today so we went to Baby's R Us to buy some new nail clippers and then walked next door to Dick's to look at some shoes. I asked him if he liked them and if i should get them and he looked and me and said "silly daddy! my shoes!" and took them from me. He really liked that they were Orange.

We had to ride the Choo Choo...

And play in the play place where he went down the slide...

And try to climb on top of the toys. He didn't quite make it up this one.

 Before we left the Mall we got an Orange Julius and he was so excited to get a KJ sized cup. 

At the end of the night he sat in his seat and watched a movie on Daddy's computer. He wanted to eat popcorn but since he didn't finish his dinner he didn't get any. He was so sweet when he asked Nana to sit on the floor next to him and watch the movie for a little bit.

Jan 13th Back together!

So glad this little guy is back with Daddy. Of course our morning started with watching Cars, we were lucky enough to have NEMO join us. 

KJ had his 2 year check-up with the Doctor today. While we were waiting KJ wanted to read a book. He was showing me the difference between big rocks and little rocks. On another page he was showing me the difference between Sharks and Fishies and Turtles. He loved to count the Fishies and made it all the way to 10 on his own.

This was KJ on the way home from the Doctor. He kept hiding from me behind his hat.

Just wanted to end with this picture. Man this little guy is so amazingly good looking. I love every second i am able to share with him! 

Jan 9th and 10th

KJ went back to his Mommy last night for the next few days. I hate not having him here but his time with his Mom is so important. This was him a couple of days ago watching a movie with Cousin Sav and eating crackers and gold fish. He loves to sit with Ripslinger and his other toys from Planes while he watches things. I miss him already and can't wait until he comes back.

When Kristoffer wants to watch something he will always tell me which device he wants to watch it on. He will tell me he wants to watch planes and then ill ask him what he wants to watch it on. He will tell me TV, Idat (Ipad), or Daddy's computer. He is so sweet but i have to admit, i need make sure he isn't getting too attached to the electronics.

Jan 8th

Little guy still isn't feeling very well and he spent much of the day watching Rio and Planes again. He love sitting in his new "seat" is what he calls it and switches between watching things on daddy's computer, his ipad, or the TV. He's just so sweet and only wants Daddy.

He got tired of sitting around all day and i thought for sure he would ask to go on another walk. It's snowing today so i would have had to tell him no but thankfully he just asked to go to the mall, yes he asked to go to the mall. He looked at me and said "daddy, mall please?" How on earth could i tell him no?! Of course he got a new plane while we were there, yes im a sucker but when he asks so nicely its hard to say no. 

He was sitting in his "seat" and randomly turned around and said "im sad" i asked him why and he just got up out of his seat and walked over with his blanky and said "hold please" he just wanted me to hold him. Gosh i love this little boy!!
