March 17th

Today we spent the day with Mommy and made a stop at the fabric store. KJ pulled out all of the fabrics he liked best and wanted me to sit down with him on the floor and play with them. He had Dusty from Planes and he also pulled out trucks and cars. He was so cute when he started patting on the floor and telling me to sit down so that we could play. Such a great imagination. 

Frozen came one day early to Cousin Sav's house and they were nice enough to bring it over and share. We loved watching it all together and singing "loud" just like KJ

KJ wanted to share his chair with Cousin Sav and they watched together for a little while. They are so cute together and so sweet with one another.

March 14th

We worked on shapes today for about an hour. He made different animals with all of the shapes and worked on the colors too. He has gotten so good at all of the shapes and colors and loves seeing the different animals and he loves to make the noises of each one.

We invited Mommy to go see Frozen with us tonight. He loves having his own seat and loved sharing popcorn and treats with Mommy. As you can see in the picture, they are both taking bites at the same time oblivious to the fact that Daddy was taking a picture. Haha! KJ loves this movie and knows all of the songs and loves to sing them. He sings so loud and was so entertaining that everyone in the theater could hear him and started to giggle because it was so cute. We had to try to get him to sing a little softer but he didn't care, he just did what he always does. Loud Loud Loud.

When we got home KJ wanted to sit with Uncle S and play games. KJ was helping him beat the bad guys in Zelda and he loved every minute of it!

After getting so yucky from all of the popcorn and treats from the movie we had to do a quick bath. He wanted Blue and Green so we started with Blue and then added started to add some yellow but he said that i needed to stop because he liked it the way it was. He is so funny!

March 13th

The day started with KJ wanting to play a game on the wii, we gave it a try but he was only entertained for a little bit because Daddy couldn't play as well as Uncle S does. It was still a lot of fun.

Today KJ and i went to have lunch with Aunt H at school. He loved running around on the lawn with her and her friends and this is how he decided to bring his milk back to me. He was a big hit with all of the ladies, they just love him and he is such a flirt. It was a great day for a picnic at the school.

Since Daddy has school on Thursday nights KJ gets to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa and tonight he got a special treat, he got to go visit Grandpa's office. He loved looking at the window at the freeway and look at all of the cars. He thought it was so cool that every wall was a window and he could see everywhere he went. In the building there is this shoot where he can take balls upstairs and drop them down the shoot like a slide that goes in circles all the way down. He wanted to do it over and over.

Under his folded arms you can see his visitor's pass which even has his name on it, so personal. He decided that he needed to drop everything and say a prayer. I told you, he's just such a great example and so spiritual like the scripture says "and becometh as a ^jchild, ^ksubmissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father." Mosiah 3:19

On the left is Grandpa's desk and on the right is one of he friends desks. Of course KJ loved Grandpa's friends desk more because of all of the toys. He didn't want to leave.

Dinner and JCW's KJ loves hotdogs but does not love corn-dogs so this picture surprised me. Later i found out that he took one bite like this and then asked if Grandpa or Grandma could take off the coating so that it was just a hotdog. He's so picky. 

March 12th

This is how KJ wanted to watch his movie this morning. We laid down like this on the floor for quite a while and it was so much fun. I don't see how he could be comfortable like this but he didn't want to move. 

Today i rode the Motorcycle to school but before i left KJ wanted to try on the helmet. He almost fell over because it was so heavy but he wouldn't let me take it off of him and he kept running around and around nearly falling over and over. He's such a riot. 

March 11th

He always asks me to get in the bath with him. He gets to take baths with Mommy so he thinks that he should get to take baths with Daddy too. I needed to shower and asked him if he wanted to shower with me and he said "no, bath Daddy, bath" I decided that if i agreed to take a bath once we got in i would be able to just turn on the shower....NOPE! We sat in the bath for about 20 mins. So stubborn but so fun.

Lunch at IKEA. He did such a great job eating his fries and Chicken. I love how entertaining he is. He decided that he wanted us to pull our hats down and try to look at each other and then we would laugh and laugh.

We had to play with the train at IKEA. We built our own track and played for about a half hour. He loves trains so i bought him one so he could play with it at home.

March 8th, Short Day

Movie in the morning

Today we got a "present" from Amazon. Wakee Six! KJ asks and asks to play games. He loves playing this one especially. He loves it when i take a deck of cards and "shoot" them at him and then he runs through the cards that are laying on the floor and then asks me to pick them up and do it again.

KJ and Mommy slept together tonight but not before a singalong. Always Frozen. So cute!

March 7th

KJ wanted to watch NEMO today but didn't want to wear his clothes so he wrapped up in his blanky with his Nemo and they watched together.

Just before bed he said that he wanted to sit with me so while he was making noises with his mouth, i snapped some pictures. Such a cutie

Every night before bed we say our prayers. I ask KJ if he wants to say his own first and he usually does and then i say one for both of us. I told him to get ready to say his and i took a picture. This boy is such a great example and he doesn't even know or understand how. His prayers are usually "Mommy, Daddy....AMEN!" He's so Amazing!

March 6th

KJ has been asking to read book after book lately and it's so much fun. He always asks to read the same one over and over and i have to convince him that changing books is always better than reading the same thing over and over and he usually agrees. He loves reading The little Engine that could, Brown Bear Brown Bear, Wheels on the Bus, and lots of others. He is starting to pick up on words and wants to read with me. He likes to point out all of the different animals or other things and he gets so excited about all of it. 

KJ loves to color and today he brought over all the markers and asked me to stack them so we made him two swords out of his markers.

Seriously every time we go outside he has to go and look at Grandpa's Cycle and today i let him sit on it. He immediately grabbed the handle and started saying Vroom Vroom!! Like father, like son. That's my Boy!!!

We went to the park today and that's his favorite thing to do right now. He loves going down the slides over and over and with there being four different slides he was in heaven and never wanted to leave. It was so much fun!

Slide after slide after slide! Living life to the fullest!

Round and around and around. Kid loves running in circles and is always asking someone to chase him. So much more fun outside!

March 5th

KJ has really surprised me in how much different he is than most 2 year olds. Most kids would want to just play games or watch movies, which he knows exactly how to get to but KJ instead would rather play with learning apps. He plays a lot of different ones but always ones that involve counting or tracing numbers or letters. He likes to play with apps where he spells words or colors. He is a very smart boy.

Grandma has a mirror with a light and KJ loves turning the light on and off. 

March 4th

KJ loves eating cereal and since i don't let him have it all that often he always asks for more and more. I like it when he has fruit and yogurt or pancakes or something that doesn't have so much sugar but the best part about it is when he asks if he can drink the milk left in his bowl at the end. At that point it has sugar in it so he loves the milk left in the bowl. I have to help him but he does a great job and always asks for more.

Every morning we watch a movie and he has been watching Despicable Me at Mommy's house so we watched it today. He pronounces it "Espicable Mead" but today he went and a Minion in Aunt H's room and asked if he could hold him while he watched it. He was so happy when i told him that he could. He also snuck in his light up sword that he got from Disney Land. Way too much fun!

I talked him into this gem. He's almost never willing to let us take pictures and especially not of him giving me a kiss. He is so amazing and it looks like i was just quick enough on snapping the picture. 

Tonight we went to dinner with Mommy and on our way to take Mommy back to her car she an KJ watched Little Mermaid in the car. He loves that i bought a mount for the ipad in the car and he can watch movies on all of our long drives. He's just such a happy boy and loved spending time with Mommy watching a movie.

March 1st, Our short day

KJ was so sweat this morning. He just wanted to cuddle. Every once in awhile he will even let me take a picture of us and it's always so amazing because it helps me remember exactly what it was like when he was little.

Every morning we read books or he will read books while i make his breakfast. Today he decided he wanted to read books on the Ipad. It's fun because they are very interactive and he always seems to learn things that he wouldn't be able to read if i just read he books to him.

Every time we go outside KJ wants to go and look at Pop-pop's new cycle. He likes to tell me all about it too. The little guy just wants to ride it all on his own, he doesn't want to go on a ride with anyone else. They grow up so fast!

Feb 28th

I came around the corner to KJ sitting on Titan. "Daddy! I want to ride Titan! Come on Titan, come on!" Oh my gosh this kid is so funny!

Ok so KJ thinks that everything that comes to the house is a present, i think i have mentioned this before. He decided that he wanted to wear the box on is head instead of playing with the new car that came inside of it. This only lasted for a few minutes and he loves his new car because its "The King" from cars and that's our last name.

KJ loves playing in the sink. He asks if he can play in the sink after every meal, i have to limit it to once a day but he would sit in there for hours if i let him.

We got some nuggets and fries today for lunch because we were in a hurry to go to the mall and look for a present and cards for Mommy's birthday. He likes to take a bite and chill for a few minutes sizing up his food before his next one. Very funny.

Can't go to the mall without playing in the play place for at least a half an hour...but usually more!

He is in kiddie heaven when he gets to play in the play place.

Finished the night with movie night. He got set up in his little chair with some popcorn and watched Jungle Book. We had a lot of fun and any night that ends with popcorn is a great one!
