Rodeo

KJ loves horses and pretty girls and today he got to see both! We went to the Rodeo with some friends and he was so excited to see all of the animals. Every time the Rodeo Queen would ride by on her horse he would want to go and say hi so i held him up next to the fence so that he could waive and the girls rode by and gave him a high five. He was in Heaven! He just kept asking to see the pretty girls and give them five, they were so sweet to him. Just before we left he asked to sit on our friend Kodie's lap and she was happy to let him do it. He was so sad when we had to leave but was so eager to give Kodie and kiss and hug goodbye. I told her husband "Uncle Austin" that he better watch out because KJ was coming for his wife. Ha-ha. When we woke up the next day KJ asked if we could go to the Rodeo again and see the pretty girls and sit on Kodie's lap. He is so girl crazy, it's scary!

When we got home from the Rodeo KJ asked Grandpa to draw a picture of a Horse and this is what he came up with. He was so excited that Grandpa drew him on the Horse that he didn't want to go to bed without it. Thanks Grandpa!

Fun, Fun, Fun

So every once in awhile KJ will find my watches and he loves to wear them. He tries to put all of them on but quickly realizes that they are too big or too heavy for his little arms. He's so much fun though and he had a lot of fun playing with them.

KJ got a magna doodle and he loves to draw mountains. The best is when he will start drawing and spelling his name. He is getting so good at spelling it and really tries to write the letters as well. He never ceases to impress me.

It was raining and KJ wanted so badly to go out and play in the water. He was so excited to take the umbrella and jump in the puddles. He ran around and around until it got too cold for him. He had a hard time to hold up the umbrella at the beginning but figured it out quickly.

After playing in the rain we had lunch and he decided that he wanted to warm up by playing with bubbles in the sink.

Father's Day

I am so lucky! This little guy made me the most amazing tie in Nursery at Church and colored it all by himself. He and i shared breakfast in bed and he gave me the best card that had his hand prints in it. He is just such a blessing.

Catching Up...

Over the last month we have been very busy. KJ took a trip to Georgia to spend time with his Nana and Pop pop. He had so much fun swimming and riding on the golf carts and visiting all of Mommy's friends. He did take a little bit of a tumble out of the Pink golf cart and got a few scrapes and blisters but he was "so brave" as he said and was very resilient. Im glad he's back in Utah now but i'm sure he misses being able to play in Georgia.

One of KJ's favorite things to do is spend time outside and he loves to water the flowers and the grass. He even like to water Grandma's purse when she's not looking. He told me that it was dirty and needed to be cleaned, he quickly learned that we don't water Grandma's purses and was so quick to apologize. He's such a well mannered kid.

Daddy got sick and had to wear a mask for a couple of days so that KJ didn't get sick too. He loved playing with my mask and if i ever took it off for a breather he would tell me to put my mask back on. He's a great helper.

Grandma and Grandpa got their hot tub fixed so KJ and i took a few minutes to try it out. He loves getting in the "tub tub" because there are bubbles and big jets that he can play with.

We went to the Children's Art Festival in Springville and while we were waiting in line to get a balloon animal we took this picture. It was pretty warm outside so we were trying to hide in the shade and he got to ride on my shoulders so that he could save his energy for the playground.

He got a red balloon doggy and was so happy because they made the tail long enough for him to walk the doggy like it was on a leash.

After we finished doing all of the fun stuff and the Art Festival we went and played on the playground. He loves going down slides!

He wanted to show me that he was eating his lunch. Crazy kid!

So at the mall they have these big stuffed animals that are scooter type things that you can rent and ride around the mall. He went and got to ride the Panda with Aunt H. Pretty cool idea to keep kids entertained while you shop.

KJ got to go shopping with Grandma and Grandpa...He loves "patch kids" for sure.

Another night in the "tub tub" this time Cousin Sav got to join him.

KJ found some Cars stickers and decided that he wanted to put them on his tummy.
