Middle of July

We went to dinner with Grandpa's Singles Ward and outside of the restaurant there was a tractor. This little guy walked around it like 12 times just looking and talking about it. He is such a boy and loves tractors and trucks. He's so much fun!

7/11 Day!!! Free Slurpee's for everyone. These two had so much fun and of course they loved their free Slurpee's.

Reading "There's a Nightmare in my closet" with Grandpa. I think he asked him to read it 3 or 4 times and of course Grandpa complied. He always finds a way to keep from having to go to bed right when he's supposed to, Smart boy.

Hike to Stuart Falls

Riding the lift to the top of the mountain.

Taking a break on the trail to eat an Apple and drink lots of water.

I carried the little guy on my shoulders the whole hike, a little more than 5 miles. I guess i really underestimated how far of a hike in the blazing sun it really was. He was covering his ears because he saw a bee and he thought that by covering his ears that meant the bee couldn't get him. He's so much fun and comes up with the best ways to stay safe. There were a few times where i stumbled and almost fell and he just kept saying "You're doing so good Daddy" "You're okay Daddy" "You're so tough Daddy" He is so sweet and caring. He was very worried about me and kept encouraging me to keep going. I think that the heat really got to him because on the way down he almost fell asleep multiple times.

He loves throwing rocks into the water. He would throw them in and then he would get into the water and throw them back out and he kept doing that. We spent about 30 minutes just throwing rock in and out of the water. He was so excited to be there and we had so much fun eating our sandwiches and apples and playing with the rocks. As hard as it was to carry him, i wouldn't trade it for anything. He was so happy and that makes me happy!

About a week before this little guy was born his Mommy was sick of carrying him around in her belly and someone told us to go and hike up Sundance because the elevation would help her go into labor. We did it and we took a picture together standing in the same place that KJ and i took this picture. I told him the story, i doubt he understood it but he liked being able to take a picture in the same place that Mommy and Daddy did with him before he was born.

This is what my legs and feel looked like when we got back. So gross! I hate feet but i had to share.

Dinner with cousin Savvy!

Taking pictures with Aunt H. Grandpa has access to all of the new cool Apps that Adobe has before they actually come out. This App can change pictures to look like oil paintings!

Beginning of July

So there are a couple of funny stories to tell. KJ is so funny! We went outside the other day and he loves trying to find bugs to look at. He saw some on the sidewalk and he came running over to me and said "Daddy! The bugs are stinky, they need a diaper change!" I don't think that he was even close enough to smell them but he was very adamant about the fact that they were stinky.

The funny thing that this kid came up with is we were changing into our swimming suits to go get in the hot tub and when he is naked he loves to yell "Naked Baby!!!" and when i was changing he yelled "Naked Baby Daddy!" Oh my gosh, I almost died. He was so cute about it. He threw his hands up in the air when he yelled it and i couldn't stop laughing.

I just love him. Sometimes he decides that he doesn't want to wear PJ's to bed, he's so grown up and i love that he can tell us exactly what he wants.

WE LOVE THE 4TH OF JULY!!!These are pictures from the parade, we had a blast!

Fireworks from the 4th

We love playing outside and we can't do it without playing with water. He loves watering things or just playing in the sprinklers. He is his Mother's child.

I was sitting on the couch and i heard KJ calling for Titan, He kept saying "Titan come here, Titan sit down" Then he called me over and said "Daddy take a picture of Me and Titan please" He got Titan to sit all on his own, the only issue is that Titan kept trying to kiss him. It was so funny because he just wanted a picture, not a kiss. They are great friends.

Fireworks on the 7th with Grandpa's Singles Ward!!!         Also known as the "Cul de sac of fire!"

We got some visitors but thats ok because KJ loves Firetrucks!!!

KJ decided that he wanted to cut my hair. He found a tire pressure gage and thats what he was using to cut it. It was so cute

One of his new favorite things is to get piggybacks. I decided that we should take some pictures before we ran around the house. He's so much fun!

Catch up

One of KJ's new favorite things to do is wink. We had some family friends over to play and they all got in the "tub tub" so we took a winkie picture.

KJ loves his doggies. He will hug them just like this and say "oh doggies, i love you" Im so glad that we decided to give these to him the day he was born, its a security for him and its so sweet how he treats them.

We went to the farmers market and although we didn't take his swimming suit it was just too hard to tell him that he couldn't play in the water because there were so many little kids doing it so we stripped him down and let him play. A little iffy for me but he loved it!

This kid loves going to Church. He loves going to nursery, he will ask me before we go if i will stay with him in Nursery but then the second we walk in the door he just looks and me and says "see ya Daddy!" and he runs off. It is so great to walk in to pick him up at the end of Church and have the teachers tell me how wonderful he is. They are so excited that he actually sings, listens, and answers questions during the lesson. He loves playing with the other kids and is always the biggest helper when they are cleaning up. He loves singing "I am a Child of God" and "Sunbeam"

"Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam"

Went to the park today. He just likes to go down the same slide over and over and of course it's the biggest one. He's such a cutie.

He loved riding the tractor at the mall. He asks almost every day if we can go do it again.

Grandpa got a bunch of letters and numbers and animals for Kristoffer and Cousin Sav to play with. KJ was playing with them and if you look closely you'll see he accidentally spelled his Mommies name.

We took turns tracing each others hands on the paper.

KJ saw Uncle S lean over and ask Titan for kisses so he decided to give it a try. He wouldn't actually stay there long enough for Titan to kiss him because it tickles but he would still stand there and ask.

Any excuse to go outside is a good one for this kid. He noticed that Grandpa was going out to work on the "tub tub" so he took the chance to follow him out and while Grandpa was working on cleaning filters he got to stick his feet in the water.

Aunt H got all of her cheer stuff and KJ decided that the bag was big enough for him to sit in so we zipped him up and he sat in there for awhile.

We took a trip to look at the Temple. KJ always asks to go see the Temple so i took the chance today to tell him about the day Mommy and Daddy got married in this temple and then we took pictures. It was a fun morning.

Today Cousin Sav came over and she got mad at one point and was crying so KJ decided that he needed to lay down next to her and make sure that she was ok, when he realized that she didn't want to talk he just did what she did and then they watched a movie together.

After their movie they played in the sprinklers

KJ has decided that it's a lot of fun to climb all over my face so at least once a day he gives it a good run. Sometimes it hurts really bad and sometimes i'm able to get some pictures.

We got in the "tub tub together and as you can see, he loves having the Duckies swim with us.
